Tottenham Hotspur Argentina defender Christian Romero hopes his country can win the 2022 World Cup because of reaching the final. Doesn’t happen often
The Blue White Army made it through to the final after beating Croatia 2018 World Cup runners-up 3-0 on Tuesday night, December 13, 2018.
”Of course when I arrived at the hotel. I’m probably in tears,’ Romero said after the game.
“We are happy because they play well together We are fair winners. Sometimes it gets complicated. But we know how to fix it.”

Argentina will face either France or Morocco in the final, with the final set to take place on December 18.
Romero did not feature in the defeat to Newcastle United. Before returning for the team following a draw with Sporting Lisbon, with Antonio Conte. Admitted after the game that he was a big risk putting the Argentinian on the pitch.
Romero has since missed wins against Bournemouth and Olympique Marseille and now expects him to He’ll be able to help the team against Liverpool. This weekend, as well as the Carabao Cup tie against Nottingham Forest in midweek and against Leeds United on November 12.
In the first half of last season, Romero missed almost three months of action due to a hamstring problem. He also had sore muscles and hips that kept him from playing again.
