Back to the Bundesliga after Bayer Leverkusen announced the signing of Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken for €10m.

Leverkusen initially had a €9m bid rejected, but they managed to strike a deal with Brentford to sign the 31-year-old.
That saw Flekken return to the Bundesliga after his last spell with Freiburg before joining the Bees in 2023.
Flekken has a wealth of experience in German football, having played for the academy of Alemannia Aachen before moving to Greuther Fürth, Duisburg and then Freiburg.
Flekken’s arrival will increase competition in the goalkeeping position for the “Pharmacies”, who already have Lukas Hradecky and Matej Kovar in the team.
“Flekken possesses a wide range of skills that a goalkeeper in modern top-flight football needs,” Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes said. คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย “He has strong reflexes, good control of the penalty area, and, thanks to his height of 1.95 meters, has tremendous reach.”
Flekken spent two years at Brentford, making 77 appearances for the Premier League club after joining in 2023 from Freiburg, which he had helped to fifth place in the Bundesliga.
The Dutch goalkeeper has kept 14 clean sheets in 74 Premier League appearances for Brentford across two seasons.
Flekken is Leverkusen’s third signing of the summer after Ibrahim Maza and Tim Eurmann, but the former was loaned out to Sturm Graz, while Brentford have already identified a replacement, signing Caoimhin Kellether from Liverpool for £18m.
